Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction & Scope
Welcome — these terms apply whenever you engage in coaching, yoga, mindfulness, or creative sessions with Unfold with Amy (me, Amy). Please read them carefully.
By booking a session or workshop, you agree to these terms.
2. Confidentiality & Safeguarding

All information shared in sessions is held in strict confidence. Your thoughts, feelings, and stories will be treated with respect and care.

For child clients, safeguarding is a priority. I will communicate with the parent or carer, and feedback from sessions will be shared with them, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The child will be made aware that parents/carers receive full feedback on each session.
3. Payments, Costs & Cancellation

A complimentary initial consultation (30 mins) is offered to help us decide whether working together feels right.

After that, sessions are charged at the agreed hourly or package rate.

Invoices will be issued in advance or as agreed; private clients are asked to pay at least 24 hours before sessions (or another mutually agreed time).

Cancellation policy:
• If you cancel less than 48 hours before a private session, 50% of the fee will be retained.
• If you cancel less than 24 hours before, the session is fully chargeable. -
If I need to postpone or cancel for unavoidable reasons, I will offer an alternative time or issue a refund for that session (pro rata), depending on circumstance.

Any additional costs (e.g. travel) will be communicated in advance and included transparently.

If an invoice remains unpaid beyond its due date, further sessions may be postponed until payment is resolved.
4. Termination & Notice

Either party may end the working relationship if there is a serious breach of these terms.

For longer-term agreements or programs, I require at least two weeks’ notice to terminate the contract, and you will be responsible for payment of work already undertaken.
5. Working Hours & Communication

My standard hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Requests or messages outside those hours will be addressed the next working day unless prior arrangement is made.

Email is my preferred method of contact, though phone or video calls can be arranged by agreement.
6. Sessions & Platforms

Online sessions will typically use Zoom (or another agreed platform). Before we begin, I’ll share any necessary links and guidelines.

If there are connection issues during a session, we’ll do our best to find an alternative method (phone, reschedule, etc.).

For children, session focus and any relevant background are discussed in advance (often via parent/carer communication) so the sessions are appropriately tailored.
7. Disclaimer & Professional Boundaries

My coaching, yoga, and mindfulness services are not a replacement for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment. If you or your child have medical or mental health needs, please consult an appropriate professional.

The effectiveness of sessions depends on several factors: your (or your child’s) engagement, consistency, willingness to practice agreed tools or tasks, and open communication.

I commit to working with integrity, respect, and professionalism — and I expect the same in return.
8. Data Protection & Record Keeping

I comply with UK data protection laws (GDPR).

I will only store personal information necessary for our work, keep it securely, and not use it for unrelated purposes.

You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time (within legal limits).

I will not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law (e.g. safeguarding) or with your explicit consent.
9. Changes to Terms
I reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions over time. Any changes will be posted here on the website, and I will notify clients of significant updates in advance.
10. Agreement
By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms.
